September Declared Recovery Month in Rice County

The Rice County Board of Commissioners, as well as both Faribault and Northfield City Councils adopted proclamations recently deeming September as Recovery Month. This annual observance will celebrate Rice County citizens in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse as well as recognize those individuals who serve them. Recovery Month will draw attention to the issue of substance abuse and highlight the point that recovery from addiction is possible.
